NAC TECH exam

NASSCOM Assessment of Competence-Technology (NAC Tech) is an industry standard assessment to create a pool of engineering students who are good at natural aptitude skills and at their respective core study areas as well. The score is treated as a benchmark by many major companies to give an edge to these students in their recruitment process.

 According to NASSCOM, it is a certification program to ensure the transformation of a "trainable" workforce into an "employable" workforce.

The NAC TECH Test is conducted regularly across the country. The schedule of upcoming tests is regularly published on the official website.

Scores of all NAC-Tech test takers are shared, primarily with all the endorsing companies, and companies directly connect to those who perform well in the NAC-Tech assessment and meet defined job criteria.  

Important Information for Students

Eligibility for NAC Tech exam is

·         Any candidate appearing in 'final year' of BE, B.Tech, MCA, MSc-IT is eligible to take the test

·         Preferred Scores of candidates: 60 % aggregate in graduation, 12th standard & 10th standard

The test is an online multiple choice test that contains two separate tests.

Test A is compulsory and common for all the engineering branches. It consists of four portions Verbal Ability (20 minutes), reading Comprehension (10 minutes), Analytical Reasoning (25 minutes) and Attention to detail (5 minutes), making it a 60 minute test to assess the basic aptitude level of student.

Test B is optional and can be attempted if the student wishes to. The student can decide a field of its choice among IT, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Textile, Biotechnology or Telecommunications. The aim of this test is to assess candidate's technical skills in the core area of education. The duration of this test is 30 minutes for all the branches.
